I am doing something similar in that I have a file full of unrelated people and different surnames. I live in my husband's hometown and started entering birth notices and obituaries plus other related news articles from our local paper, trying to figure out how families in this town are related... Am so glad that I started this about 10 years ago, because I have been able to pull information from that file into my family file as I find the ones that are related to us, no matter how distant. I need to go through that file and get it in good shape so I can just combine the files instead of having to look through both. Just another way to use Legacy. Gail in MN
