My copy of Mills' Evidence Explained arrived this week. What a wonderful resource! I finally feel I have solid guidance on how to cite all of my sources.
I've found myself gravitating towards using the source citation overrides to construct my citations instead of filling in the form fields supplied by Legacy and letting the software construct the citation. This is because I feel I have much more control over citation formatting. Are there reasons why you advise against using overrides? I ask because I don't want to stumble on to that conclusion 6 months from now and have to go back and do a lot of re-work.
