Hi David

I see that someone has answered this, but as a generic answer to find out
what is happening with gedcoms try the following:

1 create a new family file with just one (or two) people.
2 enter just the data you are wanting to find out about, but instead of
putting in real data, where the program will let you put in a description of
the field (eg in the born notes field put "born notes", so that you will
know where the output came from).
3 create the gedcom.
4 open the gedcom file in a text editor and see where the data ended up.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy GEDCOM output

Can anyone tell me what “variable” Legacy uses, for Latitude and Longitude,
using the Legacy GEDCOM output option.

I have searched for LATI and LONG but can’t find these two standard
variables anywhere in my Legacy GEDCOM.

Thanks, David in Mesa, Arizona
