<<My Problem: Somehow I have disconnected my mother and father from their siblings. When I am in “Family View,” if I click on either set of my grandparents, my mom and dad are the ONLY child showing. Each of them should have several siblings. If I continue up, by clicking on my great grandparents, and then back to my grandparents ALL the children EXCEPT my parents show up. If I go to the “Name List” and click on either set of grandparents, then all of the other siblings show up, but NOT my parents. >>
It sounds like you have two sets of parents for your parents or somewhere around there. You can see that in the icons on the family view. You need to relink the broken links, then unlink those links not needed. Right-click on the family view individuals to bring up the menu.
