I had same problem. When I updated laptop Legacy reported no printer installed. A little later I decided to try printer setup and got same message as Jane.
I updated desktop computer and no printer problem reported. Printer setup showed proper printer installed. When I re-opened Legacy on laptop and checked printer setup all was OK. My printer is installed on desktop with Win XP. Laptop uses same printer via network (desk comp must be On and it was).
