I realize the original post is old, but I have just re-subscribed and am trying
to "catch up"...?!

What caught my eye was the mention of "the Relationship field(s)" in Kristen's
post below.  I don't believe I've heard of this field for an Individual before.

Can someone enlighten me?  (I've checked Help. I'm on v 7.5.0.40.)

I do have a parentage that is questionable, so this field could be
useful to me.  Right now I just have a note in ALL CAPS in the Research Notes
field.

(Now that I'm re-reading Kirsten's post, I'm not sure what she means by "add a
note to the Name field" either... ?)

Thanks in advance,

Jane:

Most of the time I create a new folder for the person in XP and that's where
I stick all the relevant information and notes until something clicks.
These are all kept in a Stray folder under the appropriate surname.  With a
few, when I'm pretty sure where they go due to circumstantial evidence, I
attach them and >>>>> add a note to the Name field saying that the link is
tentative.  I could put that note in >>>>>>>>>> the Relationship field(s), but
then
it's buried in a string of source notes and I like to have it at the very
top.
