Thanks for your input Stan. Your suggestion works well on a limited individual search basis where the File ID (PXXXX) is assigned to a source document. However besides master sources and source citation detail, File IDs can (should) also be used with to-do items and multimedia entries. These latter two would be excluded using the 'Search' function.
Further, this 'Search' method fails on the second portion of the cross-reference: Identifying File IDs assigned to an individual (in other words all the File IDs assigned to Agnes Bagadonuts, RIN 567, including master sources, source citation details, multimedia and/or to-dos). Having this report function available to print as well as CSV for import to a spreadsheet would enable indexes of this information in a manner much like a library card catalog.
