None the less, Legacy still must be installed on the computer which
you wish to run it from. There are certain Windows system files which
are requred and Legacy must be in the registry.

If Windows can write on the fly to the DVD-RAM without needing to burn
a file to it, like you need to do with a regular DVD/CD, then it might
work to keep the Family Files on it.

Take a look at the c:\Legacy\Data folder to see all the files that
Legacy creates while you're working on the Family FIle (the Help file
in Legacy explains what those files are for - look up "File:
Extensions"

If Legacy can't write the files to the same folder where your Family
File is, you'll definitely get an error message.
