Ron, I'm assuming you mean Ancestor Chart rather than the Ancestor Book
although I tried both. On the Ancestor Chart I cannot show the cause of death
which is the important information required. The Ancestor Book is far too
wordy and contains personal family information that I could not remove.

I'm looking for a simple chart that records the name, age at death and cause of
death to assist in a cancer study. At first I was thinking pedigree chart but
the study is interested in the siblings as well so perhaps I'll just do
something in Word. I thought I had created such a report using Legacy for
another cancer study about five years ago.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Donna

Donna,

To produce a report which includes the options which you require you should
not be using the Pedigree Chart, but the Ancestor Report. Just use Report
Options in that report to cut out all the stuff which you don't require.

For medical reasons I need to produce a pedigree chart with age at death and
cause of death. I know that Legacy will do this but when I go to the
Pedigree chart, click on Report options and select Include the page is faded
except for RINs & MRINs and User ID. In other words I cannot make the
selections that I want. I've closed Legacy and come back in and it is still
the same. What do I need to do to have the Include page let me select "age
at death" etc.? I'm using Legacy 7.5.
