Three things... The OP (who failed to post in plain text) says the "2,285,688 KB of memory" she is backing up includes pictures, docs, etc. Since these are not stored *IN* the Legacy database, they have nothing to do with any Legacy limitations. P.S. for the OP ... what we are talking about has nothing to do with "memory". Computer memory and disk capacities/filesizes are two different things. Secondly, I believe the 1 gig limit in MS Access has to do with the size of a single table. I believe there is a 2 gig limit on the size of a single database (.fdb). Thirdly, I'm sure Legacy would not silently let you think everything was OK while you continued to add records that were going nowhere. -- Dennis Kowallek (LTools) http://zippersoftware.com/ltools/index.htm http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ltools Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
