Size of the database appears to be "relative". My current family tree goes back quite aways and contains 28,274 individuals, of which 10,400 were born after 1600 and 7400 after 1750. Since I do not have close cousins, most of what I do have is 4th to 16th cousins, which is why the original direct line went so far back to allow me to bring them forward to related family members. The .fdb file itself is 153 MB, and I do have 91 MB of linked pictures and source documentation. So far Legacy 7.5 Deluxe has not even had a single hiccup from my working on my original family file, or on another one that I started about 9 months ago and is now at about 1200 individuals.

But when people mention tens and hundreds of thousands of entries, it boggles my little brain. I hope you will receive some answers to this query!
