I reserve the Marriage Address icon for the couple's current residental address and use a "Church" event for the marriage location.
There is a "Court" event and there's no reason why one couldn't add a "Chapel" event for a marriage in a chapel that's not connected to a church (thinking of the wedding chapels in Las Vegas <g>) Or you could simply add a "Marriage Location" event which would cover all possibilities. The Description field could be used for the name of the church, chapel, hotel, ship, court, etc. with the date and place (city, county, state, country) in the proper fields. The actual address could then be linked to the event using the Address icon for that event. By the way, if an event takes place on board a ship at sea, you would enter the name of the body of water followed by "At Sea". For example Artic Ocean, At Sea. The same applies for other bodies of water. "Getting it Right" by Mary Slawson has quite a few options for non-land based locations.....
