Elizabeth, At what point does it lock up? I take it that you can get the Family view, but then what, the Individuals Screen? Can you highlight the Event, and on clicking Edit, is it at this point when it locks?
You may have to do a complete uninstall and reinstall, if you have a corrupt download. This I installed but have been unable to do anything with my file since. I have tried File Maintenance but that hasn't resolved the issue. I wanted to edit an existing event but am unable to open the event or to add a new one. I get a computer 'beep' and all freezes. All I can do then is press ESC and exit Legacy. I have tried restarting the computer but that makes no difference.
