Dennis, Yes, first unlink from the current parents, then bring the child into the main panel in Family View, right click on the kid's name and click ADD, now select Mother. Repeat for both. Note this will automatically give you an unknown parent and a MRIN.

I have disconnected these two children from the Sutton family but now need to just connect them to the mother. The 1900 Census notes the 1st child living with his grandmother and mother but the mother is noted as single, surname is given as Hardin or Harden. Is it possible to just connect o mother?
