There's Super Anti Spyware that does a great job of catching what all the other programs miss and it's free too. I've used it before with Norton 360 and it caught a bunch of junk it didn't. It may not be the cure for all things harmful to your computer. They update it frequently too and the professional paid for version is cheap.
