For the repeat button and the 'left click near the "in"' (no need to double
click) to work you have to be in the individual screen for another person. If
you added a location for Mary's birth, and she has three siblings with the same
birth location you need to go to each sibling in turn, put the cursor into the
birth location field and then either left click near in or hit repeat. If you
have people who died in the same location (as each other, not necessarily the
birth location) put the cursor in the death location field and hit repeat or
left click. Does that make sense? In other words, it repeats the last used
location for that particular field - and it doesn't have to be a newly added
location. If you already have a death location for an individual look at that
person's screen, move to the next person you want to have the same location for
the same field and click or repeat.

I can right click on "in" to get 10 locations but none of those other things
work e.g. repeat button, left click. Nothing happens Is there something I
should do to customize this ?

Right click on the space between the husband and wife (near the word in) and
the previous ten locations will pop up. Theres a way to automatically add the
last used location too, but I cant remember what that is!

You'll find a simple double-click on the 'in' label will help your memory :-)
