There is no way to attach a source to only the notes for a vital event, or any event for that matter. The source can only be linked to the birth, Baptism/Christening, Death or Burial and the citation, with any pictures of the source will be included as a source for those events.
In an Individual Report the Vital Event Notes print a long way from the vital events to which they belong (After all the other events and family details for the person) and there is no source citation number used there. The OP did not say which report she was using so I could not check her report to see where the Christening Notes appear relative to the location of the Christening Event.
