Since I got no responses about my problem with people being duplicated in a descendant narrative report, I think I have learned a lesson that is worth sharing. For the second time I have wasted lots of time trying to solve a problem in the Report Option screen. Both times I learned that the problem was not in the report choices, but in my data. This time, I finally got smart and went back to my basic data. There were two wives given (through my own stupid error) for the father of the guys that were duplicated.
The moral is: The first step in solving a problem with having things appear the way you wish them to is to GO BACK TO THE DATA on the "Family screen" and look for an anomaly or an mistake. Let's hope I remember my own advice.
