Nope - you just need to go to Options > Customize > General and select "Open last used family file automatically" in the "Starting Family File" section. Sherry, Thanks, that did the trick. This is the first update in YEARS that has given me any kind of issue, so I was a little thrown, but I knew I could count on the list for the answer.
