Michele, I'm not LDS but am a longtime FHC volunteer. The IGI will not
go away when the transition to NewFamilySearch is complete (not sure
what it will be called then, perhaps just FamilySearch.)

In your entries, you may want to make the important distinction
between patron submissions and controlled extractions. The IGI entry
tells you which it is.
