Marriage notes icons are not colored in and no data exists when clicked on – except for those whom I have entered notes.
Maybe a search and replace – “Reference:” to “” will clear them up. It isn’t something new. If you are looking at the family screen with the husband on the left and wife on the right, look at the line where the marriage date/place is. Look all the way to the right. You will see the source icon, the events icon, the notes icon and the photo album icon for the marriage. Click on the notes icon. michele From: Kevin Long <mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 22, 2011 1:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Marriage screen question I don’t see that happening in my file. Perhaps some file maintenance will help. Kevin Long From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, June 22, 2011 10:13 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] Marriage screen question You know how when you have info in a certain section it will make the icon turn in color? (notes, sources, photo album, parents, siblings, spouses etc). On the marriage part the note section is always in color. If you click it on it says, Reference: If you use the notes section for the marriage you have to deleted Reference: to type what you want. Anyone know why that is in there? michele Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
