You need to first click on the "Event" field. It will then pop up the list of 
events from which you can select Alt Birth.

Geoff,

I have plenty of Alt. Birth, Death, Marriage, etc. in my records. Some people 
have 3 Alts. I looked and looked and still don't find Alt.
anything.
I'm perfectly happy with the 5 default events though
