I do something like that but add a further step of including an extra search check Say you use Tag 1 for the original search and Tag 2 when you have completed the update Set your search criteria to be Tag 1 = tagged and Tag 2 = untagged This way it doesn't matter when you return to it, just rerun the search and the next record will be at the top of the list.
