Jan, The pictures for Vital Events will print in certain reports, the Family Group Sheet and the Individual Report will both include pictures linked to the vital events. It works for those reports because the vital events are listed separately in those reports. In the narrative reports all the vital events are lumped into one paragraph about the person's life so with four possible pictures the programmer has never been happy with any of the layouts he has experimented with for including pictures of vital events.
