Richard, the specific dates of the marriage and marriage events all occurred on the same date, therefore, any date can be used as long as it is the same date. As for the categories, I assume that the 'Marriage" category comes from the actual data entered into the Marriage Information Screen, for two reasons; 1) because its color is different than the other two events; and 2) there are only two events entered into the marriage events, 1) being when they obtained the 'Marriage License,' and 2) the actual 'Marriage Ceremony' being performed.
I hope this is a little clearer. We can't answer why it sorts out of order when we have no numbers. I don't understand the catagories. I guess the License will be issued/ordered a few dates before the Ceremony/or same day. What does the 'Marriage' actually mean? Are you possibly refering to the reading of the banns? --- On Fri, 7/8/11, Jenny M Benson <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Jenny M Benson <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Sort Problem in Chronological View > To: [email protected] > Date: Friday, July 8, 2011, 2:04 AM > On 08/07/2011 01:25, Charles Apple > wrote: > > I apologize if this has been discussed before, > however, I have been unable > > to find an answer in the Help Files, or the LUG > Archives.
