Jacob, Do you have the options on the Legacy Home tab set to "Allow Legacy to connect to the internet..." or the second option "Never check the internet unless a link is clicked"?
Click on the Options button, select Options > Internet Options to select your choice. If you have the second options selected, you 'll have to cick on the "Check for Update" link in the Updates section of the Legacy Home tab.
