Concerning distribution of updates,

I fire up my Legacy software nearly every day - sometimes several times in one
day. I am guessing that thousands of others do the same thing. Imagine the load
on the distribution servers if every user was notified of the update all at the
same time. If too many users hit the download server at the same time, it will
bring the server down [stop running]. I am not a network expert but I am
suggesting that there is some method in place to spread the load out maybe by
using our account numbers. Even though I run Legacy every day it took a couple
of days for the notification to hit my Legacy Home page. Unless you are
experiencing a problem that is fixed in the current update, I recommend just
being paitent - you will be notified. I am certain that there is no flaw in the
software if you weren't notified the same day as the first person noting the
update availablily on the list.

BTW, I set my preferences to start my Legacy at the Home Page. That way I get
to see if there is any news, any to-do items, any forgotten birthdays, and  the
possiblility of an update notification.

Thanks Sherry,

What puzzles me is why my Legacy Deluxe insists that v.7.5.0.89 is the latest
build, yet everyone on the list says there is another one.  Hope there is no
typo.  Maybe a ticket should inform the programmers that there is a deficiency
in their program.
