If I am reading this thread correctly the comments you refer to are comments on a source or source detail. Those will only appear, if they are set to be included in reports, with the source citation which can be included:
As a footnote on the page As a citation at the end of a Generation (if the report is organized that way), or As a citation at the end of the report.
