More info. I just saw that if I click on one of the event labels in Family View, it brings up the Customize Display dialog where I can set which events I want to display.

We can add as many custom events as we want. For my family, probably baptisms are the most common. If I want to separate out christenings, or have both baptisms and christenings, I can just add a christening event. I think it was Brian who said in a recent message that we could modify family view to display the events we wished to display recognizing that there are only five available. (Although I've looked at can't figure out where to modify the events in family view) Paul Gray -----Original Message----- From: David C Abernathy [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: July-19-11 11:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Terms for Christening--Christening or Baptism Some of the other programs the baptism and christening are separate events and a person can have both. The programmers of Legacy just need to add these as separate events and this problem would go away. Even dedications and blessing could be added. So, the best answer might be to use the custom events. Jerry Sherry/Support <[email protected]> wrote: >That's been passed on to the programmers.
