That kind of feedback is very helpful to us newbie who are trying to get organized. So… how about a short summary of filing strategies? MASTER SOURCES: Geoff’s webinars suggest naming all master sources with the location (in reverse order) first, then perhaps a date, then some sort of source name. How do you feel about that? DOCUMENT FILENAMES: Geoff, and most everybody else, seem to say “do what you want”. As renaming is somewhat painful in Legacy it would be nice to set up a consistent system early on. Especially for non-picture files which cannot be renamed thru Picture Center. What do you recommend? These are the thorniest issues for me as a beginner. I already have quite a quagmire. Anyone else who would like to make suggestions? Please do so! Thanks to everyone else who takes the time to read and respond to any or our, often recurring, questions. Cheers.
