My suggestion doesn't really change the functionality of the program, or dumb it down. It was proposed more as a means of protecting people from themselves, and thus, a long pro v. con argument on the list. A compromise if you like. Between those that like the functionality it gives, and those whose first inclination when something happens that they were not expecting, is to rush to the User Group for an answer, rather than using the available materials. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
