Louise,

Have you tried unlinking the grandparents you don’t want from their children,
and then delete. Check on the marriage list that you are not left with a ghost
marriage.

Subject: [LegacyUG] merging problem

after reading some of the recent postings I decided to merge several of my
family files and ended up with a problem I don't know how to solve. Somehow I
ended up with my grandparents married to each other twice, and four of their
children were entered as half siblings. I deleted the half siblings, but every
time I tried to fix my grandparents I would eliminate that whole side of the
family. How do I fix this?
