In which case 3hrs surprises me, although it does depend on the speed of
your broadband and possibly your FTP program. My largest pedigree file is
around 9000 and takes nothing like that, not sure how long, maybe 1 1/2hrs,
but I will be uploading the lot at the end of this month. My broadband
download speed is rated 8mbs (actually 6mbs).

You may not be aware that there are ways that enable you to only upload
changed files, and although not on topic for this list, they can be
discussed on LUG at http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/WUL/
