If I understand you correctly, unlink you mother from your father, use Advance tagging to tag all your father’s ancestors, then export the tagged individuals to a new Legacy file.

I apologize if you received the first. I want to separate out some of my family tree branches. Right now my name is the beginning of my genealogy file. I want to have my Father's side separate from my Mother's side. What is the best way to do this? Should I create a Gedcom file, rename the file and delete the family branch that I don't want in the file. Or can I just copy my father's line somehow from the existing file and then rename the file? __________________________________ Sent from eM Client | www.emclient.com/get -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this message.
