Unfortunately this work around doesn't! I have several people, myself included, who are known commonly by a shortened version of their first name. By selecting 'use full given name' I get that for everyone, so William "Bill" becomes William throughout the report, Janet "Jan" becomes Janet throughout. Not what I want. Also, if I leave 'remove quoted names' selected in the marriage statement I get 'Janet Kay married Reginald George HAWTON blah blah. Marriage status: widowed. Reginald George "Reg" was born on blah blah blah.' Also - 'The following involved Reginald George HAWTON and Janet Kay "Jan" SULLIVAN and / or their children' (my introductory sentence for Marriage Events). It seems that 'remove quoted names' doesn't do that for the second name person in a couple. I think this is actually a problem in any instance where you have a couple named and have selected 'remove quoted names'.

Select Use full given name for narratives and the two John's will have their second given name included in the report when the second marriage is mentioned.
