Well, that's not the way I - and others - do it! I know several of us put the full street address into the Location field. (I just recently realised it was a good idea to separate the house number from the road name with a comma, too, so that all road names sort together!) > > I have just discovered a family member who was killed in action during > WW1. What is the best > way to use these? I would enter something like "Enemy action in WW1" as the Cause of Death. In the Location field I would put something like "HMS Nameofsub, at sea" or "HMS Nameofsub, North Sea" or more precisely if you know the area. > I have the names of a few ships in my Location list. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
