I never did like that installation default and changed the option so that all new people were deceased rather than living. Made more sense to me to arrange it this way. Back to your question. Go to Search and select the Detailed Search tab. Primary Condition. Look for: Individual Where to look: Living How to look: Equal To What to look for: YES Clear List before this search - selected Click Create List Paula>>>>>>>>>>>>>In the Search List (results) window, you can click on the Edit tab for an individual and click the radio button for Living? No.... right there without having to print a report. (provided you are familiar enough with the individuals, I guess) (or maybe print the report, mark the ones to change, run the search again, and change to Living? No from here... probably faster than pulling up each individual?) All that *if* the other solutions proposed here don't work for you / don't find all of them. <snip> Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
