There was a problem reported in June regarding formatting problems with multi-line text fields converted back to Legacy after being edited in Families. This was caused because iOS separates lines with newline characters, whereas Windows requires both newline AND carriage return. This problem was fixed in Families Sync 1.2.0 released on June 21. We've received no further reports of problems since then, and I've just tried editing a notes field in Families then transferring the file back to Legacy and it worked fine. However, if anyone still has any formatting problems in files transferred from Families to Legacy using Families Sync 1.2.0 or later, then please report the details to [email protected] or via the forum at www.telgen.co.uk/families/forum.
