Ed, Legacy allows 9 fields in the Locations, so the flexibility is there to allow pretty well all the circumstances which one is likely to encounter.

It permits the user to assign a name to a location or name style, and permits specifying the text output permitted for each style. Thus one can have a named style for each country appropriate to that country and/or a named style for each kind of name format. I hope Legacy will take the hint in newer versions.
