If you add your family via gedcom you can include sources and notes.
I use this process whenever I find a family missing in its entirety from nFS.

Nope. Not until FamilySearch gives Legacy the ability via an (API) application 
programming interface to do so. As far as I know, there is no time frame. It is 
in the tracking system.

No worries though, none of the genealogy programs do so :)
