Ric, Why does it matter? There can be many reasons for the behaviour which you have observed. For example you say that they are *mostly* the same people, the fact is that the remainder will make a difference, the file compression may be slightly different. One may have more deleted records than another etc. I very much doubt if you will ever find the answer – as long as they work, why bother?
