I've never experienced this before, but it was very alarming. I'd worked on one of my family files about 6 hours ago, backed it up then exited Legacy as usual. When I opened Legacy, that particular family file would not open. I opened the other two family files that I have, I checked and my backup was there: C:Legacy/Data/etc. I tried several times, but I would always get the message that it couldn't open the file. I decided to restart my computer and now it opens fine. I just thought others might want to know in case this ever happens to them. Syble
