I have just noticed a couple of strange things with my file – or rather with
a report from my data. I have created a Descendant Narrative report. One
woman, named Eliza, is reported as having a husband called Tom. Trouble is,
my data does not show any husband for Eliza. Nor is there a Tom in my name
list. To my knowledge I have never entered Tom, linked them, and then
unlinked them and/or deleted Tom. However, Tom is actually a potential
husband of Eliza according to some research notes I have. That one will
remain a mystery I guess, because there has to be some logical explanation.
The second problem, same report, I have a woman named Rosetta who had a
relationship with an unknown man. She had one child to him. She then
married, and had several more children to her husband. However, the report
says Rosetta and the unknown man had three children and lists the correct
child, plus the first two children of her marriage. In the database they
are correctly linked to the husband, and NOT linked to the unknown man. If I
show half kids they are correctly listed as ½ siblings of the illegitimate
daughter. Anyone got any clues as to why this might have happened.

Cheers
Jan
