Derek, I also use a spreadsheet, but I just typed my ancestors in... I'm only really trying to make sure I've found my direct ancestors in each census. Just saying, it might be faster just to type in the names... depends on your file size. I think Jenny was the one who sent me a sample of how to lay out the file...?
Could be I've misunderstood your intent, though. I just wanted a check-list / to-do list sort of tool. Not a spreadsheet full of the actual census data. --Paula in Texas Researching: Adair Baker Beasley Benson Betz Bigley Blagrave Burton Chapman Clement Clough Coppernoll Costine Daulton Dinwiddie Doody Ellis Exline Field Floran Floyd Gates Goodale Gordon Gump Hale Harbaugh Hind Hopkins Hughes Hurdle Jones Klein Koyle Laswell McDonald Misner Passwaters Pelton Roberts Roche Ryburn Short Singer Sullivan Weller Williams ________________________________ From: Derek Cuthbert <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thu, January 26, 2012 4:26:19 AM Subject: [LegacyUG] CSV Report Can someone help me. I want to produce a text file of all the data in my Legacy file. The purpose is to import this data into a spreadsheet that I can then use to track what Census data I've recorded. Thanks in anticipation.
