I am not LDS but I do now have access to nFS. I didn't think I would want to bother much with it, but I am having second thoughts and have watched the relevant webinars.
I have been able to click on the nFS icon, Open Family Search to the current person and then move information from my Legacy tree to nFS. I could probably have moved information from nFS to my Legacy tree had I wanted to do so. I have found duplicates and edited people on nFS. All this with the Integrate with Family Search box on the Options>Customise>General tab UNTICKED.
