Wow! You are right. I'm newly signed up as well, and thought you had to tick 
the 'Integrate' option for it to work at all.

Now, it looks like all it does is put the little two way arrows beside each 
name in Family View and Pedigree view which allows direct connection to nFS. 
Not really much difference, click on a toolbar icon, or click on an arrow.

Am I missing something?

I am not LDS but I do now have access to nFS.  I didn't think I would want to 
bother much with it, but I am having second thoughts and have watched the 
relevant webinars.

I have been able to click on the nFS icon, Open Family Search to the current 
person and then move information from my Legacy tree to nFS.  I could probably 
have moved information from nFS to my Legacy tree had I wanted to do so.  I 
have found duplicates and edited people on nFS.

All this with the Integrate with Family Search box on the
Options>Customise>General tab UNTICKED.  So what additional
functionality is released if this box is ticked?
