I just created a small family database for a friend. When I created an
ancestor book report, two or three of the marriages have wording as if
the marriage had not happened.
eg. "Walter had a relationship with Mary Margaret ________ on 16 Jun
1902 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States." followed by
"Children from this marriage were:
i. Walter Francis P...."
I have
- done a check/repair of the database
- verified that none of the couples had the "This couple did not marry"
box checked
- checked to see that the wording is correct under "Default Marriage
Wording". Then I ran the report again. Problem still there.
- so I reset the "Default Marriage Wording" to the defaults, but that
didn't help.
I did a spot check of my other, older, larger databases and found no
problems. I did not change any of my usual selections to produce the
new ancestor report.
Problem persists. I would really like to get rid of the impression that
several of my friend's ancestors had one night stands, especially in the
cases where the couple had multiple children.
Any ideas?
