Thanks Paul - I hadn't spotted the incorrect alternative father (himself). Now I just need to figure out how to correct it - the contributor is blank on the information screen and 'unknown' on the LDS site - at least it wasn't me! Graham Love

Offhand, I would suspect that either there are multiple birth dates for the father, or the son, or perhaps multiple parent links. Do any of those apply? Since it's public data (deceased people) perhaps if you posted the NFS person ID others could look at it and comment.
