I'm not sure about the defaults, but my mention about a "LEGACY GEDCOM"
(for want of a better way to put it) was because:

When you first click on EXPORT to, you get the selections for:

GEDCOM File
Legacy File
CLooz File

Then if you click on GEDCOM, the next menu selection for GEDCOM Export is
Produce File For:

Legacy
GEDCOM 5.5.1 Only
PAF
Basic
Clooz
etc.

Well, I discovered that I could not click on EXPORT TO GEDCOM and then
click on Produce File For GEDCOM. I had to click on:

Export to: GEDCOM
Produce File For: Legacy (even though I was not really producing the
GEDCOM for Legacy)

because if I clicked on GEDCOM for both menu selections, when my standard
GEDCOM was created and transferred to my website using TNG, longitudes and
latitudes were NOT transferred. But when I clicked on GEDCOM, then
produce file for Legacy, the transfer to my TNG website did the longitude
and latitude transfers just fine. That's what I mean by selecting a
"Legacy GEDCOM," not a "standard" GEDCOM, at least for certain objectives.

Confusing, I'm sure - but that's how it worked for me. --Jerry
