The info came from an Elder on Live chat at the LDS. That is who I am indexing
for. The live chat is fantastic for your questions when you are actually
working on something.
Yesterday I was indexing Colorado but I understand that Mississippi, Louisiana,
Florida have also been loaded and are ready to index.

Judy,
Usually on earlier census the “dwelling” was equivalent to the “no. of
household in order of visit”.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Detail fields of 1940 census

When I was entering information into Legacy Source Writer details
page for a 1940 census, I noticed that Legacy had kept the fields of
'"dwelling," and family."  However, the 1940 census uses "house number",
no. of household in order of visit'" and  "home owned/rented."
Which would you suggest to be used for "dwelling," the number on the census
for "house number", or "no. of household in order of visit?'"
